Main duties include:

Requirements

Early Scholars - AIM Support Practitioner
LOCATION: 25 Old Mill Race, Athgarvan, Co.Kildare W12AE42
JOB DESCRIPTION / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Early Scholars are recruiting an AIM support practitioner to join their Athgarvan team.
This is a full-time position 9am – 3pm, 30 hours weekly in our morning Pre-school Program and lunch club. You will be working alongside another Early Years Educator in a warm friendly inclusive environment.
Requirements:
- QQI Level 5 or 6 – proof of certificate is required.
- Planned progression to QQI Level 7 an advantage
- 2 signed references
- Garda Vetting will be processed
- Further training provided including First Aid, Manual Handing and Fire Safety Role
Duties include:
- Support the Preschool Teacher in an ECCE classroom of 11 children
- Support the Preschool Teacher in the day to day running of the service, ensuring adherence to Early Scholars policies and procedures
- Assist with daily planning, child observations and scrapbooks
- Excellent communication skills required to work alongside the key carer, families, children and staff.
